RRCA Coaching!

I am very excited to announce that I have passed my Road Runners Club of America Level 1 coaching certificate and passed my CPR/First Aid exam which now makes me an official RRCA Coach.

This marks a new chapter in my life and I plan on working with runner on coaching. I’ll use this website to promote the things that I learned in RRCA my coaching class, and start talking about the techniques that I learned in the class.

I want to start by focusing on middle-age runners and helping older people to just move! I will also work on coach to 5k plans, half marathon training and marathon training. My only experience to date is 10 years of running and 20 marathons. I will start slow and will work with my current coach Meghan Peyton. (Every coach needs a coach) I’ve learned so many things in my running experience and I would like to apply that to help others using the frame work provided by RRCA.

I want to thank Lisa Rippe, who turned me on to RRCA and encouraged me to keep moving and become a coach.

Happy Running!
